FERRITE MAGNETS - ISOTROPIC MFI
ISOTROPIC FERRITE MAGNETS
When pressed in the "green" stage no magnetizing field is applied to isotropic ferrites. When manufactured they are magnetized after the firing process. Isotropic magnets, size for size, are less powerful than anisotropic magnets. However, isotropic magnets are cheaper than anisotropic magnets. There are many applications where isotropic ferrite magnets are preferred and isotropic ferrites have greater options in the way in which they can be magnetized. There are two popular forms of magnetization, being multipole "M" on one face for good adhesion on applications like planning board magnets, toys and games such as magnetic chess etc, and the other popular form being through the thickness "T".

PLANNING BOARD MAGNETS
Planning board magnets are isotropic ferrite magnets magnetized "M" with a suitable plastic cover. We stock diameter 20mm planning board magnets in a variety of colours, including black, blue, green, orange, red, white and yellow. Other sizes are available. Flexible magnet with the vinyl facing is also useful in planning board applications.

TGD POWER MAGNETIC LIFTERS are versatile, easy and quick to use and are designed to lift ferrous items.
It is important that the lifter should not be overloaded, and therefore when selecting a TGD Power Magnetic Lifter, the capacity should accommodate the likely material to be lifted.
The rated lifting capacity for different steels and shapes has to be de-rated from the nominal maximum lifting capacity.
The TGD Power Magnetic Lifters use advanced rare earth technology and are suitable for normal ambient operating temperature, but should not be used over 80 degrees Celsius.
